SYNOPSIS

Nearly 60 Million tons of food are wasted each year in the United States. This amount of wasted food is enough to fill a 160 Empire State Buildings and generate 150 Million Metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions. Nearly two-thirds of this food is wasted at restaurants or by consumers throwing away food at home.

This 360 film traces food from the farm to the fork and illustrates all the sources of food waste. It has been shown at multiple film festivals including the Earth Day Festival in Chico, California and the Richard Harris International Film Festival in Limerick, Ireland.
